Elon Musk Twitter Exit DOGE Team After $1T Deficit Cut

Elon Musk Twitter: Musk hints at leaving Trump’s DOGE team, suggesting his cost-cutting role may end by May 2025. Musk, who has helped slash the U.S. deficit by $1 trillion, made the announcement during an interview on Fox News’ “Special Report with Bret Baier.”

Musk’s Cost-Cutting Mission Nears Completion

Elon Musk Twitter team continues efforts to cut government waste, fraud, and overspending. The goal was to cut $4 billion per day, and as of March 24, the department estimates that $115 billion has been saved.

“America will be solvent,” Musk declared. “Critical programs will function, and the future will be fantastic.”

Despite legal battles and growing criticism over the disruptions caused by DOGE, Musk remains confident in the mission’s success.

Tesla Protests and Musk’s Personal Struggles

Musk’s announcement comes amid nationwide protests against Tesla, his electric vehicle company. An abrupt 5% decline in Tesla’s stock recently heightened investor anxiety.

Musk admitted to feeling overburdened while addressing Tesla staff in Austin, saying, “I’m stretched pretty thin.” I work at about seventeen jobs.

Musk also talked about the vandalism and attacks on Tesla, stating that it seems like “Armageddon” at times.

Legal Issues and Disapproval of DOGE

Legal disputes have been triggered by Musk’s role at DOGE. The department is accused of breaking privacy regulations and acting without legal authority in a number of lawsuits. Musk has defended his actions in spite of this, claiming that in order to maintain a stable economy, the government must get rid of inefficiencies.

Now that Musk is scheduled to leave DOGE in May, everyone is watching to see how the US government will continue its cost-cutting efforts once he leaves.
